Triple 10-10-10 is a "Perfect 10" on the rating scale. It is an all-purpose fertilizer that - thanks to Growth Products' advanced technology - has a modern twist: it contains no harmful nitrates, no phosphates, and no chlorides. Instead, Triple Ten features methylene nitrogen, which is Growth Products' proprietary slow release nitrogen that has been trusted by professional growers for more than 30 years. This slow-release "smart" nitrogen breaks down gradually and provides plants with a steady, consistent supply of nitrogen over a period of 10 to 14 days.
But Triple Ten has more than just nitrogen. As its name implies, it is a balanced source of the plant macronutrients Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium. It also contains six key micronutrients (Boron, Copper, Iron Manganese, Molybdenum, and Zinc) that are required for optimal plant growth and great-tasting vegetables.
Triple Ten is an environmentally friendly, low-salt index fertilizer. Homeowners can apply Triple Ten without fear of burning their plants (which can easily happen with synthetic liquid or granular fertilizers) and without worries about contaminating ground water through nutrient leaching. It gives homeowners professional results on all types of vegetables, herbs, fruits, berries and nuts, and is also an excellent all-purpose fertilizer for annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs.
Water and Feed! Triple Ten mixes effortlessly with water and can be applied to the soil as a drench or sprayed on a plant's leaves as a foliar fertilizer. When fruits and vegetables are flowering or forming fruit, soil drenches are typically the best way to go. At all other times in the growing season, foliar feeding is a great alternative since plants readily absorb nutrients through their leaves.
Ever Tried Foliar Spraying? Did you know vegetables can absorb nutrients through their leaves? If you want to try feeding your plants in a new way go to the local garden center and a small Pressure Sprayer. To use Triple Ten as a spray, follow the label directions and mix 1 capful (2 fl ounces) per gallon of water in any type of pump sprayer. Spray both the tops and bottoms of the leaves of vegetables, herbs, berries or other plants until the liquid solution is running off the leaves. When fruits and vegetables are flowering or forming fruit soil drenches are a better way to feed plants.
